Thermal
expansion tank and Heating expansion tank:
Description :
Water expands when water is heated, the greater
volume results in higher
pressure to the whole system, and causes safety issues. The system
needs
an expansion tank to accumulate the expanded water and maintain safe
operating pressures. When the water cools the stored water in the
expansion tank refills the system to keep the pressure stable at the
controlled range.
The differentiation between a thermal expansion tank and a heating
expansion tank is, heating expansion tank connect to a non potable
water heating system, and use a boiler and radiators to increase the
temperature, a thermal expansion tank is used on portable water system. |
